- Infleqtion shares rose 9.8% to $13.79 during NYSE trading hours.

- The updated revenue forecast of $45.1 million factors in a non-cash accounting adjustment.
Infleqtion, Inc. NYSE:INFQ shares rose 9.8% on Friday after new analyst backing and the debut of an expanded Colorado headquarters earlier in the week. The stock was at $13.79 as of 2:18 p.m. EDT, up from its previous close of $12.55 on Thursday.
The main issue for investors has shifted to valuation rather than liquidity. Infleqtion’s current market capitalization of approximately $3.12 billion represents around 69 times its updated revenue forecast for 2026. However, with $582 million in funds at the end of the quarter, management retains flexibility for future growth.

Infleqtion reported on Monday that second-quarter revenue climbed to $13.5 million from $12.6 million. The company also increased its full-year revenue forecast to approximately $45.1 million from $43 million. These adjustments stem from the timing of revenue recognition for two government contracts, not from additional cash flow.
| Reported metric | August 12 | August 17 update | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Q2 revenue | $12.6 million | $13.5 million | Increase of $0.9 million |
| Q2 revenue growth | 116% | 157% | Up 41 percentage points |
| GAAP operating loss | $30.6 million | $29.9 million | $0.7 million decrease |
| Non-GAAP operating loss | $17.0 million | $16.2 million | Reduced by $0.8 million |
| 2026 revenue outlook | About $43.0 million | About $45.1 million | Higher by $2.1 million |
Chief Executive Matt Kinsella stated the adjustment redistributed revenue across periods “with no impact to cash.” He also said the company continues to expect 30 logical qubits this year. According to the filing, revenue previously recognized in 2024 and 2025 was lowered.
The difference is significant. The GAAP operating loss remained at 2.2 times the revenue generated in the quarter. Infleqtion’s initial statement indicated operating cash burn near $14 million, after excluding a one-time payroll-tax benefit.
| Scale and funding marker | Value | What it signals |
|---|---|---|
| Cash, restricted cash and securities | $582 million | Roughly 12.9× 2026 projected revenue |
| Debt at Q2 | None | Allows flexibility in the balance sheet |
| Temporary payroll-tax benefit | $27.4 million | Remittance expected in Q3 |
| 2026 technology target | 30 logical qubits | Milestone in delivery |
| Proposed Commerce funding | Up to $100 million | Pending necessary agreements and approvals |
The Colorado Quantum Innovation Center is expanding its operational footprint. Infleqtion has taken up residence in the Louisville facility, which spans approximately 107,000 square feet. Around 100 staff members from Boulder are expected to relocate to the site.
Infleqtion’s new facility becomes the company’s global headquarters, backing projects in quantum computing and sensing for both government and commercial clients. Kinsella described it as a “convening point for the quantum ecosystem.” Infleqtion headquarters announcement
Risks: The valuation relies on swift progress toward commercialization. Revenue is still minor compared to the operating loss, government contracts might face delays, and reaching the 30-logical-qubit milestone could be postponed. Changes in accounting and significant short interest may further increase volatility.
Friday’s market surge thus reflects two narratives simultaneously. Analysts identify a supported route to scaling up quantum systems. However, financial results continue to require evidence that technical achievements can consistently translate into sales.
