The International Cocoa Organization reported a 4.2% rise in 2024/25 global cocoa stocks year-on-year. Demand is weak as consumers resist high chocolate prices; Barry Callebaut reported a 22% drop in cocoa sales volume. European and Asian cocoa grindings fell 8.3% and 4.8% respectively in Q4, while North American grindings saw a slight 0.3% rise.
