Vietnam stocks: Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange VN-Index ends February up as settlement snag puts March in focus
VN-Index closed at 1,880.33 on Friday, up 3.1% for the week, as foreign investors turned net buyers and fertilizer and oil-and-gas stocks led gains. Trading volume reached about 858 million shares, with turnover at 33.4 trillion dong. Brokerages briefly halted some settlements after a delay at the Vietnam Securities Depository, but the system was restored by mid-afternoon. Traders await March 2 PMI and March 6 macro data.
