TBC Bank shares slide in London trade even as buyback ticks over

TBC Bank Group shares fell 1.1% to 3,945 pence in London trading after the company announced a modest share buyback, with repurchased shares to be cancelled. The decline tracked a broader sell-off in UK equities as new U.S. tariff threats unsettled markets. TBC bought 3,000 shares on January 16 at an average 3,872.98 pence. Peer Lion Finance Group also slipped 0.9%.
