Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires First Actuarial in Major UK Pensions Play – What It Means for Trustees, Employers and the Market
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired UK-based pensions consultancy First Actuarial, the firms announced 2 December. Financial terms were not disclosed. First Actuarial, with about 500 staff across seven UK offices, will remain under partner David Joy and operate within Gallagher’s UK Benefits and HR Consulting Division. The deal expands Gallagher’s presence in the UK pension and benefits market.
