BETA Technologies shares were flat in premarket trading Thursday after surging 15.6% Wednesday on news that Amazon holds a 5.3% stake, according to an SEC filing. The stake, disclosed in a Schedule 13G, showed Amazon owns 11.75 million Class A shares. Some investors questioned whether the news was new, as earlier filings had referenced Amazon’s position. Amazon shares fell 1.4% premarket.
