Applied DNA (BNBX) Stock Surges on $58M Binance BNB Crypto Bet; New Ticker Takes Effect

Applied DNA Sciences (Nasdaq: BNBX) closed a private placement for up to $58 million to fund a BNB-focused digital asset treasury, receiving $27 million immediately. The company now holds over 15,500 BNB tokens and rebranded as BNBX on Oct. 7. BNBX stock rose to $4.49 on Oct. 22, up from $3.42 the previous day. Anthony Scaramucci joined as adviser; Clay Shorrock was named CEO.
