Gulfport Energy stock (GPOR) slides nearly 9% on Wolfe downgrade as gas prices fall
Gulfport Energy shares fell 8.7% to $188.26 after Wolfe Research downgraded the stock, citing weaker natural gas prices and a lower long-term gas forecast. U.S. natural gas dropped 3.5% to $3.49 per MMBtu. Other gas producers also declined. Investors await the Jan. 8 U.S. storage report and Gulfport’s next earnings date, estimated for late February.
