Bandhan Bank’s net profit rose 84% quarter-on-quarter to 2.06 billion rupees but fell 52% from a year earlier. Gross bad-loan ratio dropped to 3.33% from 5.02% last quarter. Deposits climbed 11% to 1.57 trillion rupees, and advances increased 10% to 1.45 trillion. Shares closed up 3.3% on Thursday.

Bandhan Bank plans to sell ₹6,931 crore of stressed assets, including over ₹3,200 crore in NPAs and ₹3,700 crore in written-off loans, after board approval on November 27. The sale targets microfinance, small business, and agri loans, with bids expected by mid-December. The bank’s stock traded at ₹146–147 on December 3, down 2%.
