Silver near record highs as BMO flags rare gold-silver ratio low and retail money floods ETFs
Spot silver hit a record $93.57 an ounce Thursday before retreating to $92.50. Retail investors added nearly $922 million to silver-backed ETFs in 30 days, according to Reuters. BMO said the gold/silver ratio has dropped to its lowest since 2012. Spot gold slipped 0.1% to $4,614.93.
