McCormick stock tumbles as MKC flags tariff costs and a softer 2026 profit outlook
McCormick shares fell 7.9% to $61.27 after the company’s 2026 profit forecast missed Wall Street estimates and management warned of continued tariff and commodity cost pressures. Fourth-quarter adjusted earnings were 86 cents per share on $1.85 billion in sales. The company expects 2026 adjusted EPS of $3.05 to $3.13 and sales growth of 13% to 17%. Rivals Kraft Heinz, General Mills, and Conagra rose.
