Pentair (NYSE:PNR) drops as pool channel destocking hits profits by 62%
Pentair plc dropped Wednesday after the company reported pool-channel destocking had reduced its second-quarter sales by about $170 million and Pool segment income by $105 million. The company said that’s a decremental margin of 61.8%, so about 62 cents of profit vanished for every lost dollar of sales.
