Air China shares closed up 3.3% at 9.37 yuan in Shanghai after the airline announced a $9.5 billion order for 60 Airbus A320neo jets. The aircraft will be delivered from 2028 to 2032. China’s stock markets are closed for the New Year holiday and will reopen next week.
