Satellite Images Reveal Impact of US Strikes on Iranian Nuclear Sites
Recent satellite images analyzed by experts reveal surface evidence of the US strikes on key Iranian nuclear sites, including Fordo and Isfahan. Despite the deployment of ultra-penetrating GBU-57 bombs and Tomahawk missiles, the full extent of the damage, especially to underground facilities, remains unclear. The Fordo enrichment site, buried under 80-90 meters of rock, is particularly challenging to assess via satellite. These images underscore the limitations of remote sensing in evaluating subterranean targets and highlight the ongoing concerns about Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
