Shell stock price hits fresh 52-week high as US Venezuela licences revive Dragon gas project
Shell said new U.S. licences for Venezuela allow it to advance its Dragon gas project, stalled for years. Shell shares hit a 52-week high at 2,944 pence, up 1.46%, while the FTSE 100 fell. Brent crude traded near six-month highs amid U.S.-Iran tensions. Shell bought back 3.4 million shares on Feb. 19 as part of its ongoing programme.
