Suncorp share price slides as AI insurance apps spook investors ahead of results
Suncorp shares dropped 4.24% to A$16.05 Tuesday as fears over new ChatGPT-powered insurance apps hit Australian insurers and brokers. Morningstar’s Nathan Zaia said the apps “caused the sell-off.” Insurance Australia Group fell 6.19%, QBE dropped 3.39%. Investors await Suncorp’s half-year results on Feb. 18.
