GAIL Share Price Today: Stock Slides Over 6% As PNGRB Tariff Hike Disappoints Investors (28 November 2025)

GAIL shares fell as much as 6.3% on Friday, hitting an intraday low of ₹172.2 after the PNGRB approved only a 12% hike in pipeline tariffs, well below the 33% increase GAIL sought. The stock traded around ₹173–174 on the NSE, down about 5.5% from Thursday’s close. Full cost recovery was deferred to FY28. Year-to-date, GAIL is down roughly 9%.
