NMDC Steel’s Profit Rally Short-Lived as Q2 Loss Triggers 7% Stock Slide
NMDC Steel Ltd reported a net loss of ₹115 crore for Q2 FY26, reversing from a ₹25.6 crore profit in the previous quarter. Revenue for July–September was ₹3,390 crore, up just 0.7% year-on-year, while EBITDA fell about 50% to ₹207 crore. The stock dropped 6.36% on Oct 29 after the results. Last year’s Q2 loss was much larger at ₹547–595 crore.
