Baidu stock jumps before the bell on Ernie 5.0 launch — what traders watch next
Baidu’s U.S.-listed shares jumped 8.2% premarket to $162.28 after launching its Ernie 5.0 AI model in Shanghai. The company’s AI assistant reached 200 million monthly users, according to the South China Morning Post. Baidu will report earnings on Feb. 26. Jefferies maintained a Buy rating with a $181 target.
