In 2025, these innovations – across solar, wind, geothermal, bioenergy, and hydropower – are moving from labs and pilot projects into real-world use, marking a pivotal shift in the global energy landscape. Renewables already supply over 30% of global electricity and are expected to surpass coal as the world’s largest power source by 2025 Ratedpower.
