Aptera Motors (NASDAQ: SEV) opened at $20.42 in its Oct. 16 direct listing, surged to $22.43, then plunged to $3.63 before stabilizing near $9, giving it a $300 million market cap. The California EV startup, which has not delivered vehicles or posted revenue, secured a $75 million equity line after listing. Aptera reported a $22.9 million loss for H1 2025 and had about $13 million in cash midyear.
