StoneCo Ltd. shares rose about 5.8% Tuesday to $14.96 after the company announced a new share repurchase program of up to R$2 billion. The move follows disclosure of plans to distribute R$3 billion in excess capital for 2024. Recent filings show StoneCo repurchased over 21.8 million shares in 2025, with most activity concentrated late in the year.
