    July 3, 2026, 5:52 PM EDT. Shares of Apotex Health Corp. (TSX:APTX) added 4.75% to close at C$33.95 on July 3, the highest close since its IPO at C$24 on June 16. With the gain, the value of Apotex's 62.29 million IPO shares is up about C$620 million to roughly C$2.115 billion. The company just closed a $100 million buy of Cumberland Pharmaceuticals' U.S. branded drug unit, picking up hospital and specialty products. Apotex trading was quiet, with 146,773 shares moving-about 24% of its 65-day average. Major holders SK Capital and Sherfam own a combined 66.6%, holding down the float. The Cumberland buyout, backed by more than 99% of shareholders, is seen strengthening Apotex's U.S. healthcare footprint and its finances.
