  • Soybeans Rally Early Wednesday as Futures Gain Amid Export Activity
    January 21, 2026, 10:55 AM EST. Soybean futures surged 8 to 12 cents early Wednesday after Tuesday's decline, with March contracts up 12 cents to $10.53. Open interest increased by 3,147 contracts Tuesday, though cash bean prices fell 5 1/2 cents to $9.82 3/4. Export inspections for the week ending Jan. 15 showed 1.34 million metric tons (MMT) shipped, down 16.1% week-on-week but 35.1% higher year-on-year. China led destinations with 611,983 MT. Total marketing year exports stand at 19.335 MMT, down 40.2% from last year. Brazilian soybean exports for January are estimated at 3.79 MMT, a slight increase.
