Dolby Vision 2 Unveiled: AI HDR Revolution or Just Hype? (What It Means for Your TV)
Dolby Vision 2, announced in September 2025, uses AI to adjust TV picture quality based on content and room lighting. Hisense will launch the first DV2 TVs, with CANAL+ streaming new content in the format. Existing Dolby Vision TVs can play DV2 content but won’t support the new features. Dolby Vision 2 Max will offer the full set of upgrades on high-end models.
