Orkla India shares opened at ₹750.10 on NSE and ₹751.50 on BSE, just above the ₹730 IPO price, but soon fell below it, dropping as much as 7% intraday. The debut missed grey-market expectations, which had pointed to a stronger start. The IPO, a ₹1,667.54 crore offer for sale, was subscribed nearly 49 times overall. Early-session market cap stood at about ₹10,295 crore.
