SATS reported a 9.1% revenue increase to $3.1 billion in the first half of FY2026, driven by its gateway services division and the recent $1.8 billion acquisition of Worldwide Flight Services (WFS). The company's earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) margin improved to 9.2%, helping profit rise 11.2% to $149.8 million. Cargo volumes surged by 9.9% year-on-year in 2QFY2026, outperforming the 4.2% growth benchmark set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Operational efficiency gains and better working capital management boosted operating cash flow by 58% to $356.8 million. SATS's expanding global footprint, including new contracts with Riyadh Air and Turkish Airlines and a new Copenhagen facility, supports its recovery and debt repayment plans following the WFS purchase.
