UOB share price dips as Singapore bank earnings near; Maybank keeps ‘hold’ call
UOB shares fell about 0.4% to S$38.48 by mid-afternoon Friday, trading near a 52-week high as risk appetite weakened across Asia. Maybank Research kept a “hold” call, citing easing funding pressures but warning credit costs could stay elevated. UOB reports full-year results Feb. 24, after DBS on Feb. 9. The Straits Times Index was down about 0.7% at midday.
