Bahrain’s First Solar Power Plant: 150MW Tender to Power 6,300 Homes & Slash 100,000t CO₂

The detailed tender documents specify a Bilaj Al Jazayer Solar IPP of at least 100 MWac, allowing scale up to the originally announced 150 MW. In practice, the private developer must finance the project upfront, build and maintain it, and handle grid connection – with Bahrain buying the power.
