Brookfield Renewable (BEP) Slides After $650M Equity Raise: Proceeds Target Isagen Stake & Baseload Growth (11/11/2025)
Brookfield Renewable Partners units fell about 5–6% in New York after announcing a US$650 million equity financing, including a US$450 million bought deal and US$200 million private placement. The company said proceeds will fund its increased stake in Colombia’s Isagen and future investments. Shares also dropped on the Toronto exchange. The offering is expected to close around Nov. 14, 2025.
