Royal Bank of Canada Lifts Dividend After Record Q4 2025 Profit Surge on Capital Markets and Wealth Strength
Royal Bank of Canada reported record Q4 net income of C$5.43 billion, up 29% from a year earlier, and raised its quarterly dividend by 6% to C$1.64 per share. Full-year net income reached C$20.4 billion, up 25%. Capital markets and wealth management drove the gains, while provisions for credit losses rose 20% to C$1.0 billion. RBC set a higher 2026 return-on-equity target of at least 17%.
