July 2, 2026, 3:27 PM EDT. Wheat futures were mixed Thursday as Chicago SRW eased and Kansas City HRW gained at mid-session. Minneapolis saw spring wheat down as much as 5.5 cents. The holiday stretch runs three days for July 4th. USDA reported wheat sales of 300,060 metric tons (MT) for the week ended June 25, the lowest weekly total this marketing year, off nearly 49% from a year ago. Saudi Arabia put out a tender for 655,000 MT of fall wheat. Price moves were small: July CBOT fell half a cent, while July KCBT rose 1.25 cents. Regular trading is set to resume Sunday night.
