Transurban share price rises as DRP adds 5.4 mln new securities; RBA rates back in play
Transurban shares rose 1.0% to A$14.34 Friday as the S&P/ASX 200 closed at a record high. The company issued 5,392,155 new stapled securities at A$13.8928 each under its distribution reinvestment plan. January inflation data beat forecasts, raising expectations for a Reserve Bank of Australia rate hike in May. Australia’s 10-year yield eased to 4.66%.
