Bombay Stock Exchange Weekend Update: Sensex Slips to 85,041 as Investors Eye Monday’s Cues on FII Flows, Rupee and BSE Derivatives

India’s BSE Sensex fell 0.43% Friday to 85,041.45, trimming weekly gains but holding near record highs. Foreign institutional investors have pulled a record ₹1.58 lakh crore from Indian equities in 2025, according to Geojit Financial Services. The rupee weakened to 89.85 per U.S. dollar, down 0.6% for the week. Markets remain closed for the weekend.
