Ambev shares steady as Q2 cash flow surges
Ambev delivered a more robust cash performance last quarter than was reflected in Thursday’s subdued stock reaction. The brewer’s operating cash flow increased by 54.5% to R$4.71 billion.

Ambev S.A. ended the session at R$15.90 ahead of a key earnings report focused on margins on Thursday. Initial estimates project Brazilian beer volume growth ranging from 5% to 8%. The upper end of this outlook would still leave volumes trailing those seen in the second quarter of 2024.
Ambev Bought 3 Million Shares a Day for 40 Sessions. The Stock Still Fell
Ambev S.A. bought 3 million shares in every B3 trading session from May 5 through June 30, spending R$1.96 billion in a 40-session streak, calculations from regulatory filings showed. June alone accounted for 63 million shares, equal to 12.6% of the stock’s reported monthly turnover.
