Shell share price slips as buyback wraps up; earnings on deck next week
Shell shares slipped 0.1% to 2,794 pence in London on Friday, easing after Thursday’s rally. The company bought back over 1.3 million shares in London and Amsterdam for cancellation on Jan. 30. Brent crude pulled back to $70.69 a barrel as traders weighed U.S.-Iran diplomacy. Shell will report fourth-quarter results and an interim dividend on Feb. 5.
