QinetiQ share price rises on £205m Typhoon contract extension as BlackRock crosses 5%

QinetiQ shares rose 2.6% to 529p Monday after winning a £205 million, five-year contract extension to support RAF Typhoon jets. The UK defence ministry said the deal secures 250 jobs and includes investment in AI and digital engineering. BlackRock disclosed it has crossed the 5% ownership threshold in QinetiQ.
