Ant has also launched a robotics arm called RobbyAnt and rolled out an AI version of its Alipay app. Zeroth started in late 2024, making robots for elderly and pet care and looking to launch educational robots. The company said first-half 2025 revenue jumped 600%. Zeroth wants to move into North America and Europe this fall. Monolith, Geely Capital and others also joined the round, taking Zeroth's total funding to 1 billion yuan. Robotics investments in China are picking up as tech activity rises.
