Broadcom stock slides after report China told firms to drop VMware, other foreign cyber tools
Broadcom shares fell 4.1% to $340.03 after reports that China ordered firms to stop using foreign cybersecurity software, including VMware. An SEC filing showed Broadcom issued $4.5 billion in bonds to fund debt redemptions. The Nasdaq 100 slipped 0.9%. No comment yet from Broadcom or Chinese regulators.
