Spanish Broadcasting System reported third-quarter net income of $1.4 million, more than double last year’s $547,000, despite a 13% drop in revenue to $31.3 million. The profit jump followed expense cuts and a Puerto Rico TV asset sale. Year-to-date, SBS posted a net loss of $8.7 million, wider than last year’s $1.4 million loss. Senior secured notes due 2026 remain at about $309 million.
