Industrial AI Leaves the Office: How IFS, Boston Dynamics and Anthropic Are Rewiring Frontline Work

IFS and Boston Dynamics have launched an autonomous AI-robotics system for industrial sites, using Boston Dynamics Spot robots to patrol refineries, substations, and production lines. The robots, equipped with thermal cameras and sensors, detect hazards and feed data to IFS.ai, which can trigger maintenance or escalate incidents automatically. The deployment follows announcements at the Industrial X Unleashed event in New York.
