ADT stock edges up before the open as S&P SmallCap 600 inclusion kicks in

ADT shares rose 0.7% to $8.13 in premarket trading Monday after the company said it would join the S&P SmallCap 600 index, replacing Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals. Index-tracking funds often buy new entrants, lifting demand. The move comes ahead of key U.S. payrolls and inflation data later this week.
