The Long Island Power Authority board approved a five-year extension of PSEG Long Island’s grid management contract through 2030. A New York court rejected Quanta Services’ lawsuit to block the deal, calling its restraining order request moot. The contract awaits final approval from the state comptroller and attorney general. PSEG shares traded near $84.70 on Oct. 16, 2025.
