U.S. average gasoline prices climbed to $4.446 a gallon Sunday, up 35 cents in a week and $1.275 from a year ago, according to AAA. EV sales fell 27% in the first quarter, but Cox Automotive reported a jump in shopper interest as fuel costs surged. In Delta, Ohio, gas briefly dropped to $2.63 before spiking to $4.79. The average new EV price in March was $54,508, with discounts nearing $8,000, Kelley Blue Book said.
