Rocket Lab stock slips on KeyBanc downgrade as insider sale filing lands

Rocket Lab shares slipped Thursday following a downgrade from KeyBanc Capital Markets, halting a recent surge that had lifted the stock to new highs this month. The stock dropped roughly 4.3% to $87.90 in early trading.

Shares of Rocket Lab Corporation fell 2.2% to $89.81 in premarket trading on Thursday after KeyBanc Capital Markets downgraded the space company’s stock.

Rocket Lab Corp shares rose about 3.5% on Wednesday, outperforming a weaker Nasdaq and trading within sight of a fresh 52-week high near $90.49. The stock had ended the prior session down 1.5%.

Rocket Lab shares edged up 0.1% to $87.98 by midday Tuesday, following Baird analyst Peter Arment’s upgrade of the price target to $100. He advised clients to “stay long RKLB,” according to StreetInsider. The stock fluctuated between $85.66 and $89.65 on volume of roughly 12 million shares, as the Nasdaq Composite dipped 0.1%.

Rocket Lab Corp shares rose 4.6% to $86.87 in late morning trading on Friday, bouncing after a dip a day earlier as investors weighed heavy insider selling disclosed in regulatory filings.
