BOCA RATON, Florida, August 23, 2026, 11:23 EDT —
- Celsius stock rose 14.7% over the past week, increasing its market capitalization by around $1.1 billion.
- The recovery wiped out the decline seen after earnings, though the main CELSIUS brand continues to experience a drop in sales.
- The next opportunity for management to present its recovery case will come during a Barclays presentation on September 8.
Celsius Holdings, Inc. NASDAQ:CELH closed Friday trading at $33.36. Over the past five sessions, shares of the energy drink company climbed 14.7%, boosting its market capitalization by about $1.1 billion.
The move is significant as it lifted the price back above the $29.15 level from before earnings. Shares dropped 18.5% on August 6 after quarterly results revealed lower margins and a declining main brand.

No fresh earnings report fueled the rally. The most recent company update simply announced a Barclays consumer-conference webcast, planned for September 8 around 2:15 p.m. EDT.
This rebound reflects a reassessment trade. Investors seem to be focusing beyond the August shock, seeking evidence that portfolio scale is able to restore the main franchise.
Revenue for the second quarter increased by 10.6%, reaching a record high of $817.9 million. Alani Nu contributed $364.4 million of the total, and Rockstar accounted for $66.5 million.
Growth quality was uneven. Gross margin decreased by 340 basis points, adjusted EBITDA slipped 12%, and adjusted diluted earnings were down 23%.

|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | $817.9m | $739.3m | +10.6% |

The main challenge is still the brand mix. Revenue for the CELSIUS brand declined by 11.7%, and its tracked retail sales dropped by 2%.
Management reduced the brand’s distribution points by approximately 7%. However, the dollars generated per remaining distribution point rose by about 16% compared to the first quarter.
Chief Executive John Fieldly stated the company’s goal is to “return brand CELSIUS to sustainable growth.” The upcoming September presentation is expected to demonstrate if adjustments to the product assortment are achieving that goal. SEC filing

The consensus target of $50.50 suggests a potential 51.4% increase from Friday’s closing price. Meanwhile, a combined estimate from 23 analysts puts the target lower at $40.95, highlighting persistent sensitivity in the valuation depending on estimate timing.
U.S. markets will remain shut on Sunday. In the week ahead, investors are set to monitor if CELH stays above its pre-earnings mark while yields and growth stock valuations continue to fluctuate.
Risks: The rally faces threats if contraction at the flagship brand persists, aluminum expenses remain elevated, or integration cost synergies are delayed. Robust Alani Nu sales could also be concealing softer underlying trends.
