NASA Confirms New Interstellar Object 3I/ATLAS Crossing the Milky Way

NASA has confirmed the discovery of 3I/ATLAS, a new interstellar comet detected by the ATLAS program. This is only the third such object observed, following Oumuamua and 2I/Borisov. 3I/ATLAS is traveling rapidly through the Milky Way and will pass near Earth, offering a rare opportunity for astronomical study.
