Antofagasta stock price jumps 6% as gold outlook rises and costs fall, despite copper miss
Antofagasta shares jumped 6% in early London trading after the miner reported a 9% rise in fourth-quarter copper output and lower net cash costs. Full-year copper production slipped 1.6% to 653,700 tonnes, while gold and molybdenum output rose sharply. The company kept its 2026 copper forecast and set capital spending at $3.4 billion. Non-executive director Andrónico Luksic Craig resigned, with Andrónico Luksic Lederer joining the board in March.
