AGL Energy share price ends higher as dividend trade comes into view on ASX
AGL Energy closed up 0.2% at A$10.60 Friday, trading nearly 5 million shares ahead of its Feb. 24 ex-dividend date for a A$0.24 interim payout. Utilities rose 0.7% as the S&P/ASX 200 slipped 0.05%. AGL recently beat first-half profit estimates and narrowed its FY26 outlook. The record date is Feb. 25, with payment due March 26.
