Johannesburg’s 2026 flight shake-up: Airlink adds Zanzibar and Nacala as Qantas, SAA reshape Perth link

Qantas has launched nonstop Perth–Johannesburg flights, operating three times weekly. Airlink will add Johannesburg–Nacala flights from February 2026 and Johannesburg–Zanzibar flights from June 2026, and will adjust its Nairobi schedule from late March. South African Airways plans a temporary frequency cut on the Perth–Johannesburg route in February 2026.
